Since 1995 he has also been a principal shareholder and member of the Board of Directors of Hamilton Thorne Biosciences, Inc. and since 1999 a managing partner of Thacher Associates a New York firm specializing in integrity risk management for corporate and government entities. Mr. Thorne has in the past served on the boards of CCH, Inc. from 1979-1996, SLT Communications, and the Imperial Sugar Company as well as serving as Chairman of the Georgetown Steel Company, subsequently sold to the Mittal Steel Group. Harry G McCoy , Pharm.D., President & CEODr. McCoy is a former academic who has founded and run private and public Life Sciences companies for more than 20 years. Former President of Hamilton Thorne Biosciences, and Executive Chairman & President of MEDTOX Scientific (Nasdaq:MTOX) and Editek (AMEX:EDI). Currently Chairman of the North Shore Life Sciences Accelerator and Director of Attogen (an early-stage drug discovery company), the North Shore Technology Council, and the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy Board of Advisors. Harry has achieved 24 - 40 fold returns for his investors and was also Director of AppTec, a venture-backed biopharmaceutical manufacturing firm which was purchased by WuXi PharmaTech (Nasdaq:WX) this year, which was the largest acquisition of a U.S. company by a Chinese company since Lenova purchased the IBM computer unit, forming the world's fourth largest pharmaceutical company.
